Run, Run! (Traditional Tales)

From Oxford Reading Tree, the Traditional Tales Collection brings together a number of enchanting stories that have been shared for generations. The charming books, including The Ugly Duckling, I Will Get You and The Foolish Fox, have been sensitively rewritten using phonics so that children will be able to read them themselves. Suitable for children aged between four and five, the books are broken down into five stages of learning to read, with four wordless picture books at Stage 1 level. The other books in the collection contain more use of phonics, letters and sounds so children can develop their reading skills as they enjoy the charming stories. All the books have information on their back cover stating which stage they belong to and useful tips on the inside cover for parents about reading and retelling the story together.
